It’s been months since the mother of NBC ‘Today’ show host Savannah Guthrie was kidnapped and ever since then, public pleas, an official investigation an even a private reward was announced in hopes of the safe return of Nancy Guthrie.

With it hitting four since she was taken from his home in Tucson, Arizona in the later hours of the night, a crime expert named Brian Entin has sat down to discuss what might her case bring.

The conversation took place alongside Men’s Journal and saw the anchor for NewsNation Presents: The Nancy Guthrie Mystery, saying, “That’s how I fell into the whole crime world, covering crime the way that I am now.”

For those unversed, the special is said to air on The CW on Wednesday, May 6, at 9 p.m. ET.

Just before it Mr Entin weighed in on the chances of her case being solved and said, “I think 100 percent that it will be solved. There’s an entire taskforce working around the clock made up on FBI agents and detectives, and it’s their full-time job to work on this investigation. I think the right tip will come in or the DNA evidence will show something, but it takes time.”

As for the Ring doorbell camera that showed it all he said, “I thought when those first photos came out from the doorbell camera and masked person that it would be days, but the fact it’s been three months is perplexing.”

“But, with the panel that we have on the special, they had an interesting theory that the person on the doorbell camera could be dead. Not just the suspect involved, but that there’s a mastermind, a boss, and the doorbell person was the underling.”

Before concluding he also said, “There are so many missing people who don’t get enough attention, and the families like to know that people care about those cases, too.”
