‘Ballistic’ King Charles called Prince Edward ‘an idiot’: ‘Choose where you stand once and for all!’

Charles, the current monarch of England is said to have had spats with both his brothers, not just the disgraced ex-Duke of York who lost his titles and honors.

In the past it was Prince Edward that got the beat down, that too for trying invade his nephew’s privacy, a biographer has just revealed.

The original update has come via commentator and author Robert Jobson, in his book William's Princess.

According to it, despite there being a peace between the media and Prince William, back when he was in University and attempting to immerse himself in his studies, a company called Ardent Productions refused to abide by the rules Buckingham Palace had enforced around the young royal at the time.

For those unversed, this rule made sure no camera would be allowed inside the campus, thereby allowing Prince William full autonomy within the hallowed halls of his campus.

However, the company, owned by Prince Edward had other woes, like staying in business and “the programme was understood to be keeping Ardent afloat.”

In the eyes of Mr Jobsom “desperate times seem to have called for desperate measures for Prince Edward.” But this left even Prince William furious the expert says. “He felt his uncle's company’s actions had threatened to undermine the carefully nurtured relationship between St. James' Palace and the media and, in turn, that it would threaten the entente cordiale between him and the press,” Mr Jobson added too.

But the real beat down came via Charles, and was focused on Prince Edward, the proprietor.

The book says he “berated his youngest sibling, furiously demanding from the Queen that Edward be made to choose once and for all between his public duties and his television company.”

This made it so relations between the brothers “plummeted” that too, “to an all-time low” as St. James' Palace publicly criticised Edward for his ‘idiocy’ and the behaviour of his production company.”

According to the author “in unusually blunt terms, a spokeswoman for Prince Charles said that he was: 'Disappointed, very much so’.”

As for what kind of content the company tried taking, they had effectively set up cameras inside St. Andrews University, for a documentary style piece, some men even tried filming the Prince of Wales inside his lecture hall.

However, what is pertinent to mention is that Prince Edward was said to have had no knowledge of the company’s actions, and they ended up shutting down in 2009 due to financial struggles, as well as after the royal decided to focus solely on his royal duties.
