Everyone Hates Elon, a British political activist group against Elon Musk, placed several bottles filled with urine inside the Metropolitan Museum of Art to record their protest against billionaire Jeff Bezos and his company, Amazon, for treating workers inhumanely.

On Saturday, May 2, the activist group posted a video on social media showing people placing small bottles of fake urine around the Metropolitan Museum of Art before the 2026 Met Gala.

The “piss bottles” that had water and food colouring were an attempt to remind people of the fact that Bezos and his wife, Lauren Sánchez Bezos, who are honorary co-chairs and the biggest donors of the 2026 Met Gala, forced employees at Amazon to urinate in bottles to meet the demands of productivity. However, the company had denied the allegations.

Everyone Hates Elon also wrote, "Jeff Bezos's company Amazon is literally being sued for forcing workers to urinate in bottles. Amazon avoids MILLIONS in tax and Bezos is one of the world's richest men.”

"The Met Museum is taking the PISS by having Jeff honoured as their Gala host."

“When they celebrate Trump’s billionaires, let’s ridicule them instead,” the group added.

It is pertinent to mention that each bottle of urine had a picture of Bezos’ face that read, “Boycott the Bezos Met Gala”.
