Former football legend David Beckham apparently teased Prince Harry and Meghan Markle with his remarks following King Charles speech to US Congress.

In his speech in the Congress, King Charles urged the United States on Tuesday to stand firm with its Western allies in a warmly received speech.

Following King Charles speech, a royal expert claimed that Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle did not watch the monarch's  speech live nor later.

The insiders told royal expert Rob Shuter that Meghan and Harry also did not watch it later either.

The source claimed, “They didn’t watch it. Not live, not later, not at all.

“Once upon a time, that would have been unthinkable. Now it makes the point for them.”

The expert said and that point was clear: “the distance is no longer symbolic. It is real.”

Amid this development, David Beckham, who was once very close to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, took to social media and apparently teased the royal couple with his statement about King Charles speech.

Sharing a photo of the monarch, David Beckham said, “Powerful and profound speech from Our King in Washington DC.”

He further said about King Charles US visit, “Following in his mother’s footsteps, showing great leadership and delivering such an important message to the world with remarkable elegance and humour @theroyalfamily.”

Commenting on his post, one fan said “100% agree. Dignified but also courageous and spoke about what mattered.”
