Kate Middleton and Prince William have officially confirmed that they have 'welcomed' a new member to the Wales family.

They shared the exciting update two days after they celebrated their 15th wedding anniversary on April 29.

The royal couple celebrated their special day by sharing a family photo, saying “Celebrating 15 years of marriage.”

Kensington Palace shared the photo of the new member on Instagram with a heartfelt remarks.

On behalf of the Prince and Princess of Wales, the palace revealed the name of the new family member, who turns one year today.

Sharing the photo of their new puppy, the brown cocker spaniel, Kate and William revealed its called Otto.

Otto is the son of Orla, who was given to the family by James Middleton, the Princess’s brother, in 2020.

Kensington Palace posted the photograph of Otto, taken by the Princess, on social media on Friday morning with a message that read: “Welcome to the family, Otto. 1 today.”

As per the reports, Otto made its public debut last June, when it was pictured with Orla and two of the other three puppies.

That photograph, also taken by the Princess, was released to mark the Prince of Wales 43rd birthday.

It was revealed at the time that Kate and William planned to keep one of the puppies, which brought great joy to their three children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis following a tough year with Kate's cancer treatment.
