Day 3 of King Charles and Queen Camilla’s visit has finally hit, with the clock striking 12, and once the sun rises, the couple will take part in a myriad of ceremonies and events, the biggest of which is the 9/11 memorial.
The ceremony itself will take place in Lower Manhattan and will also include Mayor Zohran Mamdani and other officials, will also take part as the monarchs meet with the families of victims too.
Moreover, the days prior King Charles was in Washington DC the State Dinner, and the world also saw him address Congress, being the first British monarch since 1991.
Whats also pertinent to mention is that Queen Camilla will wind up making a separate visit as well, at the New York Public Library’s main branch for a reception and a panel hosted by Jenna Bush Hager, a co-host of NBC’s “Today” show.
That tour will also see her meet with representatives of domestic violence charities, one of her many patronages, as well as will take part in a tour of a permanent of teddy bears who are believed to have inspired the English author A.A. Milne to write children’s books, especially Winnie the Pooh.
