Meghan Markle wanted to be ‘the star’ even as a child, says expert
Meghan Markle always wanted the most attention as a child
Meghan Markle’s father, Thomas Markle once admitted that his daughter always wanted to be the centre of attention.
The former suits actress, who married Prince Harry back in 2018, always had a desire to be the star, Thomas told Royal author Tom Bower.
Recalling the story on The Daily Expresso podcast, Mr Bower said: "Her [Meghan’s] father, who is a good man and she’s treated appallingly, told me of this instance when she was 5 years old.
“He was a very successful lighting director in Hollywood and he took her down the red carpet on some opening night. And she said ‘Daddy I want to do this, I want to be the star’. And that was it, she wanted to be the star.”
Prince Harry left the Royal Family back in 2020 alongside wife Meghan Markle and son, Prince Archie. The couple later accused the Royal Family of showcasing racism towards their son and publicly shared their grievances on television. Harry and Meghan now live in California, where they also welcomed their daughter, Princess Lilibet.
