The grapevine has been abuzz with news of a prospective tell-all memoir by the ex-Duchess of York Sarah Ferguson. This comes not only because of her continuous hopping from luxury clinic to clinic, but also because some sources allege she has maxing credit cards in order to fund her lifestyle.

With all this in the forefront, some also warn her tell-all may come sooner rather than anyone later, and the only snag being the 'right' price. However, former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond has just shared what she finds even more concerning, and its not the memoir.

She told The Mirror, “I think her daughters would be in despair if she went ahead with a tell-all interview.” After all “whatever she said would result in headline news and the sort of publicity that Beatrice and Eugenie are desperately trying to avoid.”

While the only emails between Sarah Ferguson and convicted sex offender are those involving loans and other daily checkins, “frankly, she has only herself to blame for continuing her friendship with Epstein, and also lying about having ended it,” Ms Bond hit back saying.

Moreover, the mere idea of a memoir, where she either clears the air or sells Royal Family secrets would “only add fuel to the fire and antagonise the Palace even further”, she also pointed out.

That is why the commentator also admits, “I hope Sarah sees sense and refuses the offers which are said to be coming in, even though I’m sure they are highly lucrative.”

As for what that would mean for her finances, Ms Bond admits it might lead to more humble end of days but, “she really doesn’t have to stay in these extravagant places she seems to be hanging out in at the moment – no doubt relying on the generosity of the friends she still has.”

Near the end she also posed a question, one that asked the burning question, “what’s wrong with renting a modest house wherever she decides to live, being her own woman and cutting her cloth to suit her finances?”

After all “it’s what the rest of us have to do, and I think she might regain a tiny modicum of respect if she did the same.”
