The White House Correspondent’s Dinner recently turned into a shoot out, which had the President and his First Lady evacuated.

With mere days being left to King Charles’ Sate Visit, Buckingham Palace finally releases a statement that reads, “His Majesty is being kept fully informed of developments and is greatly relieved to hear that the President, First Lady and all guests have been unharmed.”

“As you would expect, a number of discussions will be taking place throughout the day to discuss with US colleagues and our respective teams to what degree the events of Saturday evening may or may not impact on the operational planning for the Visit.

As for the identity of the shooter, he was a guest at the Washington Hilton, and a resident of Torrance, California. His name is Cole Allen, aged 31.

The suspect in question is also facing the potential of federal charges as revealed by U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia Jeanine Pirro back on Saturday.
