Meghan Markle leaves Kate Middleton 'upset'

Princess of Wales Kate Middleton is reportedly ‘upset’ with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s actions, particularly as they continued to criticise the monarchy in Australia.

Speaking to the Closer, the insiders told the outlet, Kate Middleton is ‘particularly upset’ because many of the initiatives Harry and Meghan are now championing were originally developed through the Royal Foundation – the joint charity endeavour created by William, Kate, Harry and Meghan.

“There’s a feeling they’ve taken that shared vision and made it their own, and the Waleses are frustrated by it,” the source said and added “That’s a sore point for William and Kate.”

The close confidant went on saying the Princess of Wales has also been left furious in the wake of Harry and Meghan's ‘faux royal’ tour, as they continue to criticise the monarchy

The fresh claims came hours after Prince Harry on Friday insisted that he would "always be part of the royal family" despite a public rift.

In an interview in Ukraine with a UK broadcaster, "I will always be part of the royal family and I´m here working and doing the very thing that I was born to do, and I enjoy doing it."

The term "working royal" is used to describe senior members of the royal family who carry out official engagements as representatives of the monarchy.

Harry and Meghan quit frontline royal duties in 2020 after falling out with Harry´s family, including his brother Prince William.
