King Charles has shared an emotional message with the people of Australia and New Zealand as the monarch marks the ANZAC Day.

The palace, on behalf of King Charles and other senior members of the royal family, shared the message on the social media handles.

The statement reads, “Today is #ANZACDay – which honours the members of the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps (ANZAC) who served and died in all wars, conflicts and peacekeeping operations.”

On the top of the historic image, which apparently shows soldiers crowded inside a landing craft, it was inscribed as “ANZAC Day Lest We Forget”.

The palace released the statement hours after Harry on Friday insisted that he would "always be part of the royal family" despite a public rift.

In an interview in Ukraine with a UK broadcaster, Prince Harry said "I will always be part of the royal family and I´m here working and doing the very thing that I was born to do, and I enjoy doing it.”

The term "working royal" is used to describe senior members of the royal family who carry out official engagements as representatives of the monarchy.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stepped back from royal duties back in 2020 and moved to United States, where they currently live with their sweet children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
