Yulia Svyrydenko speaks out in support of Prince Harry amid Donald Trump remarks
Prince Harry urged the United States to take a decisive role
Ukraine's Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko has come out in support of Prince Harry following his remarks in Kyiv, which has left US President Donald Trump enraged.
In a surprise visit to Kyiv on Thursday, Harry urged the United States to take a decisive role in ending the Russian invasion and called on Russian leader Vladimir Putin to "stop this war".
It is Harry´s third visit to the war-torn country -- under attack by Moscow´s forces for more than four years -- to support wounded veterans as part of his Invictus Games Foundation.
Commenting on Harry’s remarks, Donald Trump has claimed he “speaks for the UK more than Prince Harry.
Trump said: "I know one thing, Prince Harry is not speaking for the UK, that's for sure, I think I speak for the UK more than Prince Harry, but I appreciate his advice."
Amid this, Yulia took to X, formerly Twitter handle and shared a photo with Prince Harry with sweet remarks.
She said, “It is always a pleasure to welcome Prince Harry to Kyiv.”
The Prime Minister continued, “I am deeply moved by the warmth with which Prince Harry speaks about our people – those he meets here in Ukraine and around the world through the Invictus Games.”
“Thank you, Your Royal Highness – for your consistent support for Ukraine, our service members, and our veterans. It means a lot to us to have such a true friend of Ukraine,” she concluded.
