King Charles is said to be making his way down to the other side of the pond any day now, and yet, with his State Visit inching closer the one thing on everyone’s mind is Prince Harry’s visa status because it “smells of a cover up.”

This comment and the fears it elicits comes from the campaigners from the Heritage Foundation, a team working to gain access to Prince Harry’s visa application, via the Freedom of Information act, due to his past admission of drug use, that are said to be a key reason for visa rejections for every hopeful applicant due to US law.

While speaking to RadarOnline one source even explained the reason for their aggressive approach and note, “there is a perception that this has all the hallmarks of a cover-up.”

In their eyes the decision to push it back, till after the State Visit between King Charles and Donald Trump flies by is potentially a ‘ploy’ in their eye that helps “avoid putting difficult questions front and center” while “King Charles is on the world stage.”

But more so than that, “it raises the question of whether the system is bending to protect a high-profile individual at a politically sensitive moment,” they added too before concluding.

What is also pertinent to mention is that the fight to see Prince Harry’s visa files has been going since he released his memoir Spare that revealed now only his drug use but detailed each substance.

Many in the Heritage Foundation thus feel that should he have been open about his past usage in the visa documents he should not have gotten the opportunity to reside in the US with Meghan Markle, and had he not been, the answer should be the same.

A legal analyst also told the same outlet something similar and admitted, “under normal circumstances, admissions like those would trigger additional scrutiny. That's why there is such a strong public interest in understanding how this application was handled.”
