According to a report by the New Idea, Meghan wanted to meet the Irwin family during her Australia visit to explore a potential collaboration.

She is said to admire their conservation work and was interested in possibly involving her children in future wildlife initiatives following in the footsteps of their uncle the Prince of Wales.

William has played a pivotal role in advancing global wildlife and conservation efforts.

He launched the Earthshot Prize, a groundbreaking international environmental award, and launched the United for Wildlife initiative to tackle illegal wildlife trafficking.

The future king has also introduced a welfare programme for rangers and co-produced the documentary series Guardians alongside his mentor, David Attenborough.

Robert is a global ambassadorship of William’s Earthshot Prize, and they have become close friends.

The close confidant tells the outlet, Meghan also “hugely admires” all that Terri, Bindi and Robert have achieved, and “wanted to sound them out about potentially working together – or even involving her kids in any upcoming Wildlife Warrior missions one day”.

The publication, citing the source continued, “Aligning with the Irwins’ worthy causes is something that Meghan – and Harry – could be on board with.”
