Yahoo Mail down? Thousands report login issues
Login failures spike across UK as users report access and message issues on Yahoo Mail
Yahoo Mail users throughout the UK face account access problems because of a major outage which started on Monday morning. The report showed that user reports reached more than 1000 users during morning peak hours.
Users started experiencing problems at 8:47am, according to Down Detector data. The first problems appeared at 8:47am and became more severe until 10:37am, when 1,232 users had reported system issues.
Yahoo Mail down: login issues surge
As Yahoo Mail goes down, around 50% complain about the issues with login; the application fails loading, suggesting a problem with account access systems. Another around 40% of users reported issues with the website itself, while a smaller number said they were not receiving emails.
The outage has disrupted work routines, with many users unable to access important messages at the start of the day.
The users who joined the X platform to express their frustrations experienced complete account lockouts, according to multiple reports. Some users reported encountering the "no healthy upstream" error, which typically occurs due to server-side problems. Users required urgent access to their email accounts but encountered login issues which raised doubts about their ability to receive critical messages.
Yahoo Mail experienced its second disruption of the month when previous service interruptions already occurred. The service interruption which keeps happening will create worries for users who depend on the service for their everyday communication needs. Yahoo has not provided any information about the problem or its expected resolution time.
