How Prince Harry and Meghan Markle ‘minimised risk’ in Australia
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s trip to Australia has been analysed by an expert.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle kept their Australia trip lowkey due to various reasons.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who landed Down Under this week, engaged in a four-day successful trip without much Australians knowing of their arrival.
Speaking about their decision, expert Giselle Bastin, an associate professor at Flinders University, says: "If they think it's gone well, it's because nothing has gone wrong.”
"They didn't turn up at great big advertised opportunities to see them, at least not in the form of walkabouts, so they've managed to minimise the risk of people having a negative reaction, or hecklers calling out or booing them or anything like that.
"It has been very carefully controlled so that they just sort of spontaneously appear at places,” she noted.
During the trip, Megan dubbed herself as one of the most bullied people in the world.
