Kate Middleton’s biographer lays bare her turmoil over what Meghan, Harry have done
Prince Harry, Meghan Markle’s exit from the UK has been widely reported and the future Queen’s biographer finally lays it all bare
Kate Middleton, the future Queen of England is said to have been deeply affected by the way Prince Harry and Meghan Markle handled their UK exit. So much so that even her biographer has come forward with some titbits from his time penning the biography.
Russell Myers is that royal biographer in question as well as the author of the book William & Catherine, the couple’s first official biography in decades.
According to it, the way the Sussexes went about their final affairs really came out of left field for many. To the point where Mr Myers referenced the title of Prince Harry’s own memoir to make a point but noted quite early on to Fox News Digital, “unfortunately for both Harry and Princess Catherine, I think the fractiousness of the relationship was always going to happen because Harry and Meghan chose the path that they did.”
In the Sussexes’ eyes, its said they wanted to leave ‘immediately’ and saw that the institution would probably try to stop them from leaving, had they not done it the way they did.
But in doing so “I think a real line was crossed,” he admitted while citing some quotes given to him by people close to the heir’s. in regards to this he said, “the people that I’d spoken to for the book say that both William and Catherine were left deeply hurt by Harry and Meghan’s state of play and the way they went about leaving the family.”
What many don’t know according to him is that “Catherine did not want the brothers to finish their relationship.” Its said “she was always trying to bring them together, always trying to be that mediator for William when they’re very hot, two hotheaded young men, falling out. Catherine was always saying to William and Harry at certain junctures, ‘Think about what you want for the future.’"
In her eyes, even till the last day of their time in the UK, “there was a great deal of sadness over Harry and Meghan leaving. Harry was urged by other members of the family to try and think again, try and work out a situation where it could work for all parties.” So “looking forward, maybe it’s a bit too soon to think of reconciliation,” she added before signing off.
