Andrew Mountbatten Windsor made a bizarre request during his trip to Russia back in the days.

The former Prince, who is now living in exile, was seemingly chasing of her hat as he landed in Moscow back in 2004.

Sharing the bizarre experience, as quoted from a diplomat, expert Robert Jobson noted: "One British diplomat in Moscow would remember a trade-related visit by the Duke, during which his top priority seemed to be the acquisition of a fur hat."

The author adds: "He had a selection of them delivered to his hotel late in the evening - come to think of it, by some very pretty shop assistants."

This comes as Andrew is temporarily residing at Wood Farm in Sandringham as his final home, Marsh Farm is under renovations.

Royal author Robert Jobson told The Sun's Royal Exclusive on YouTube: "It's been wrecked. I mean, the poor place looked quite nice before. Now with this lump of this sort of Peaky Blinders caravan on the side of it, it's just dreadful."

He continued: "This was quite a nice sort of country home. It's just awful now. You know, the way it's been, you know, I don't know. I think that when he eventually, if he ever moves in, I mean, you know, it just seems crazy to me what's been going on."
