Offset back with first show just days after surviving Florida casino shooting
Offset performs onstage for first time since Florida shooting scare
Offset gave a comeback performance on Saturday at the University of Arkansas’s Rowfest, marking his first appearance since the casino shooting incident earlier in the week.
In a video shared online, the rapper was seen being wheeled onto the stage before standing up to perform his first show since hospitalisation.
He later posted a message on social media, writing “REAL LOVE” as he shared the moment via Instagram.
He followed up with another post that read, “God is Good Thank you,” featuring photos of him posing by a pool.
Offset had been discharged from the hospital only two days before the performance. He was shot outside the Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood on April 6 after an altercation. However, his injuries were described as non-life-threatening.
In his first public statement after the incident, the Migos member thanked fans for their support. “I’m good… but I’m planning to be better,” he wrote before adding that he is focused on recovery, family, and returning to music.
Authorities have not yet charged anyone in connection with the shooting. However, fellow rapper Lil Tjay was briefly detained at the scene and charged with disorderly conduct before being released the same day.
Police say the investigation is ongoing and efforts are underway to identify any more people involved.
