Prince William is ‘forced’ to sit through therapy sessions? Inside his Coronation training
Prince William has been thrown into therapy amid training sessions
Prince William has found himself on a therapist’s couch and it’s all in order to ensure his preparedness for the throne amid his ‘training lessons’, but finally the nitty gritty has come out too.
This shocking bit of news comes after weeks of polarizing rumors, one stating that King Charles is planning an abdication, while the others claiming he will ‘never’ give up the role he’s spent decades waiting on. Either way, his son and heir has already started his training, and it comes packed with therapy.
According to AOL, “William is being encouraged to seek guidance and support – effectively being 'in therapy' to help train him for the throne and prepare him for the diplomatic demands of kingship,” according to one insider.
What’s also pertinent to mention that news of this comes right in the midst of a media frenzy that the Palace is battling, relating not just to Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor due to his misconduct charge and friendship with a child sex offender but also due to his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson and daughters.
What The Palace Thinks of Prince William Entering Therapy:
With all this on his radar a separate insider has told RadarOnline “the message coming from the top is that he needs to become a true diplomat, someone who can rise above personal grievances and think strategically about the monarchy's future.”
That isn’t all because other insiders have also stepped forward with fears pertaining to what this means for the heir’s prospects as King because as one source notes, “he no longer sees this as something that will naturally resolve itself.”
Another adds, “from his perspective, this is about leadership and responsibility, and he has made it clear that William must start thinking beyond his own position and consider what is best for the institution as a whole, and work on his diplomatic nature.”
Even a Palace aide was been brought out as saying, “there is a clear sense within senior royal circles that this is about preparing him for the realities of the role William will inherit. The expectation is not that he abandons his convictions, but that he learns how to express them in a way that builds alliances rather than creates friction.”
As of right now its believed, “the feeling is that William needs to develop emotional discipline. He is being encouraged to reflect on how he reacts under pressure and how those reactions are perceived by others, particularly on the international stage.”
As for what the King thinks in all this, the its all in black and white, because to King Charles’ the main thing is that his son “needs to become a diplomat on the world stage in every sense of the word.” That means knowing when to ‘push’, also “when to hold back,” and even “how to navigate very complex relationships without allowing personal feelings to take over.”
