Justin Trudeau's son breaks silence on Katy Perry romance
The former Canadian Prime Minister's son Xavier Trudeau issued his first-ever remarks about his father's new girlfriend Katy Parry
Justin Trudeau's son Xavier Trudeau spoke for the first time about his father's "cool" girlfriend Katy Perry.
Months after Kary Perry made her romance with former Canadian Prime Minister public, Xavier opened up about his encounters with the pop singer.
"She's cool, she's nice," Xavier told G Hobs.
Justin revealed that he and Katy talked for hours, and she gave her two cents on his budding career in music.
"We talked for hours, talking about my music. She gave me advice and next steps for me and stuff."
It is pertinent to mention that Xavier, who is 18 years old, is an aspiring musician going into the industry with the moniker Xav.
"I always loved music, whether it's creating it, listening to it," Xavier shared in a previous chat with The Brandon Gonez Show podcast back in May.
"I always had a passion for it," he noted.
For those unversed, Justin is also father to Ella-Grace Trudeau, 17, and Hadrien Trudeau, 11, whom he welcomed with estranged wife Sophie Grégoire Trudeau.
Xavier shared that his parents support his career in music.
"They've been supported since the start," Xavier shared at the time. "Every single time I come back from the studio, I'd have something to show then and we sit at dinner and just listen to it like, 'Oh, I like this. I don't like that.'"
