Shamed Andrew ‘grim face’ shows he has been ‘defeated’
Andrew Mountbatten Windsor displays blank features amid new humiliation
Andrew Mountbatten Windsor is seeing the reality of the situation with growing tensions; says a body language expert.
The former Duke of York was spotted getting out of the Royal Lodge in his Range Rover, seemingly looking defeated.
Speaking about his appearance, body language expert Judi James told the Mirror: “With his brows raised and little signs of tension in his face as he has one hand on the top of the steering wheel, Andrew has a very glassy-eyed stare here, as though he's trying to ignore what's around and in front of him in the real worldand place his thoughts elsewhere.
"His features look deliberately blank here as though he's run through his shade chart of resilience, arrogance and even hilarity and has found himself finally out of preferred options in terms of a saleable narrative.
She added: "On horseback there are two contrasting poses. In some photos he looks almost on parade with a straight back and one arm hanging at his side. This pose looks like the one he would strike when in dress uniform on horseback at the Cenotaph, a military look that might be in his muscle memory.
"Then there are some photos that see him looking slightly slumped and grim-faced as though the reality of his situation might finally be kicking in,” noted Judi.
