Selena Gomez celebrates major milestone for personal brand
Selena Gomez shares that the moment is ‘surreal’ for her after her brand achieved a milestone
Rare Beauty, a cosmetic brand owned by Selena Gomez, has launched at Ulta Beauty, a U.S. cosmetic chain.
It was launched at one of the store's locations in Segundo, Calif. As the brand's owner, Gomez is over the moon about the latest milestone.
"I came in the other night and it was just, it was one of those surreal moments," she tells People. "It just felt so official."
Apart from the partnership, the Grammy winner shares how Ulta Beauty is doing charity work, helping those in need.
"If you buy any product, not even Rare, you can choose to make a donation and 50 percent of it will go to the Ulta Beauty Charitable Foundation and the other 50 percent will go to the Rare Impact Fund."
This charitable work aligns with Gomez's efforts to work for her community.
"I think that's the best part is being able to connect with people and that's what I'm so excited about," she notes. "This next era will be very much me just embracing everyone, hopefully."
Elsewhere in the interview, Gomez offers a glimpse into her current beauty era, sharing, "I feel flirty. I still feel young, I think. I like a little flirty, classic look."
It is pertinent to note that the musician launched her brand, Rare Beauty, in 2020.
