Gabrielle Union opens up about her relationship with 'Bring It On' co-star Kirsten Dunst
Gabrielle Union recently got candid and opened up about her friendship with Kirsten Dunst.
The 53-year-old American actress and model told PEOPLE magazine that she and Dunst, her Bring It On co-star, are still “growing up together” after 25 years of the film.
Union, who played Isis alongside the 43-year-old American actress’ Torrance Shipman in the 2000 American teen comedy film directed by Peyton Reed, are still in touch with each other.
The Perfect Find star said, “Luckily, our kids are around the same age and they have friends in common, so motherhood has sort of brought us together in a different way.”
For those unaware, Union is the biological mother of 7-year-old daughter Kaavia Union Wade and a stepmother to her husband Dwyane Wade’s three older children, Zaire Wade, 23, Zaya Wade, 18, and Xavier Wade, 12.
Meanwhile, Dunst welcomed her sons, 7-year-old Ennis Howard Plemons and 4-year-old James Robert Plemons, with her husband, Jesse Plemons, who is also an actor by profession.
Union explained, “When we shot Bring It On, [Kirsten] was an actual child, and now she’s a mom. And it’s funny because we were talking about some of her mom’s decisions and how she was raised, and what you took and what you left behind.”
“It’s like we’re growing up together,” the Breaking In star remarked.
