Prince Harry turns to hands-on fatherhood as ‘crippling social anxiety’ get choke hold
Prince Harry’s social anxiety, fears and the Hollywood social scene are taking a toll
Prince Harry’s new life in California, seemingly has many pros and cons, so much so that the Duke of Sussex has seemingly accepted his role as a hands-on parent, while his wife handles the majority of the breadwinning work.
This comment and the fears that are plaguing the royal have all been brought to light by a well-placed source that is close to Us Weekly.
In that report, while all the negatives of Prince Harry’s US life were brought to the surface, especially with how isolated it’s making his US-based kids who are sixth and seventh in line to the throne.
According to them, the Duke seems more ‘content’ living in sunny California, despite its negatives, and according to a soruce “Harry is so happy living in the private world.”
The reason is that “even though he was raised [as a royal], he was never comfortable in that environment. He feels more like himself here,” the insider admitted.
Even during his days before Meghan, when he was a full-time royal they say, he “had this crazy schedule and would come back through the palace gates and couldn’t go out or have a personal life.”
According to royal biographer Christopher Anderson, a big part of the reason this went overlooked before his marriage to Meghan Markle was that “people often forget that Harry is, at his core, an army officer. He’s all about structure, honor, and duty—things that are missing from his life in Montecito.”
The idea was even backed by royal historian Marlene Koenig who agreed saying, “Harry’s life was far more structured in the U.K. He had responsibilities and official events to attend.” Because “Harry hasn’t settled into a permanent position
Thus, as of now “he’s spending time with his young children [Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet] and being a hands-on dad. Meghan is the breadwinner.”
This is the case especially since Harry is still “somewhat uneasy” because since his US move “he has suffered from crippling social anxiety,” where as Meghan ‘embraces’ that life more.
