LG is set to debut what it claims is the world’s lightest 17-inch RTX laptop at CES 2026, showcasing its next-generation Gram Pro series. The company is expected to launch the LG Gram Pro 17 (17Z90UR) and Gram Pro 16 (16Z90U).

Prior to the CES event in Las Vegas, LG has announced some of its products, featuring new laptops that are attending to showcase a material called Aerominum. The new material is intended to remove weight while applying strength.

Gram Pro 17 specifications

The display on the LG Gram Pro 17 is 2,560 x 1,600, coupled with Nvidia’s RTX 5050 laptop GPU, and comes with 8GB of graphics memory. According to the company, this feature makes it highly capable when it comes to dealing with creative projects, as well as being geared towards entertainment like gambling.

The weight of the laptop has not been revealed by LG, although the company is sticking with its claim that the Gram Pro 17 is the only “17-inch RTX laptop under 2 kg” set for launch.

The laptop is set to be released first in America. The same line-up will also feature LG with its Gram Pro 16, claimed to be the lightest 16-inch laptop in its class. This laptop comes equipped with a 2,880 x 1,800 OLED display and Intel Core Ultra processors with capabilities to perform AI tasks either onboard or through the cloud.

Moreover, details like pricing and release date of LG Gram Pro17 expected to be announced during the CES 2026 showcase.
