Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard on how they rang in the new year
Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard describe the new year celebration as 'bonkers'
Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard have shared a glimpse into how they welcomed 2026 with family and close friends.
The couple posted images from their New Year’s Eve on social media, showing fireworks, time spent with friends and family, and a boat outing. Shepard, 51, shared the photos on Instagram and credited friends Bobbi Brown, Molly Richardson and Erick Richardson for helping make the night memorable.
“Bonkers fun New Years. Massive gratitude for The Richardsons and @justbobbidotcom,” he wrote. Shepard also noted that one of the photos was taken by one of their children, joking that all four fingers covered the camera lenses — yet the picture still turned out.
Bell, 45, responded in the comments, calling the experience an “adventure,” and later posted her own carousel from the celebration, captioned simply, “Family 2026.”
The actors, who married in 2013 after meeting in 2007, share two daughters, Lincoln and Delta. Family travel and outdoor time have long been part of their routine. Over the summer, Bell and Shepard temporarily left Los Angeles to spend time in Tennessee.
Speaking to PEOPLE in October, Bell said the family stayed on a lake, where their daughters spent most of their days swimming and exploring. She added that stepping away from city life helps keep them grounded and present.
“I think it’s healthy to burst our bubble and see more of the world,” Bell said, noting that those moments often matter more than documenting them.
