Queen Camilla finally details her experience being groped on a train by a pervert
Queen Camilla reveals her honest thoughts about her train incident with a pervert for the very first time
For the very first time, Queen Camilla has decided to speak candidly about her experience with a pervert that attempted to grope her on a train.
For those unversed, this incident happened back in the 1960s when the pervert sat down beside her, and ended with him getting whackedwith her shoe in his privates, in Paddington.
She dished on it all, for the very first time in such a public fashion while speaking on a special Radio 4 Today programme, alongside John and his daughter Amy Hunt, with Theresa May and Emma Barnett.
According to The Sun she said “this boy – man – attacked me” before adding “I did fight back.”
She also wore her heart on her sleeve recalling it in detail before saying, “I remember something that had been lurking in the back of my brain for a very long time. That, when I was a teenager, I was attacked on a train… I remember at the time being so angry.”
Once she had gotten off the train in question she recalls how she saw “my mother looking at me and saying: ‘Why is your hair standing on end and why is the button missing from your coat?’ I had been attacked.”
She even hailed the Hunt family for giving her the courage to speak about this openly, after they suffered a harrowing encounter of their own, that left Hunt’s wife and two daughters murdered at the hands of her ex, in July of last year, according to the BBC.
While talking about how the incident led to her bout of growing steel she said,
“I was so furious about it and… when the subject about domestic abuse came up, and suddenly you hear a story like John and Amy’s, it’s something that I feel very strongly about.”
What is pertinent to mention regarding the Hunt case is that Louise Hunt, 25, her sister Hannah Hunt, 28, and their mother Carol Hunt, 61, ended up killed at the hands of Louise’s ex-partner Kyle Clifford, while at home in Bushey, Hertfordshire.
The 27-year-old has since been sentenced to a ‘whole life order’ and pled guilty to the murder charge, as well as received a conviction for raping Louise, before her death via crossbow.
