Prince William’s humour shines at Windsor Castle ceremony
Prince William brings his sense of humour to key royal event
Prince William brought his sense of humor to an MBE investiture ceremony at Windsor Castle, where he presented the honour to former Love Island star, Georgia Harrison.
Harrison, who was eight-and-a-half months pregnant at the time, nearly lost her balance while performing a curtsey which prompted the Prince of Wales to burst out laughing.
Speaking of the moment, Harrison revealed, "But I ended up doing an over-the-top theatrical curtsy, and almost hit the deck, I was this huge pregnant person in heels, arms spread-eagled and trying not to topple over.”
“William cracked up and my family couldn't believe it,” she added while speaking with OK! Magazine.
Harrison went on to reveal how happy she was when she found out that William would be handing her the award.
She noted how surprise she was to know how well equipped William was of her charity work. "I was shocked because he'd followed a lot of my experiences and said how brave I was," Harrison said.
"To speak to one of the most important people on Earth about changing the world is an experience I'll never forget.
Further talking about the ceremony, she jokingly said that she hoped of going into labour at the royal residence.
"I was just trying not to give birth at Windsor Castle. Although part of me sort of wanted to, just for the drama of it and maybe the Insta content!"
