Adam Peaty's mom reacts to Gordon Ramsay's swipe at family feud
Adam Peaty's mom Caroline has reacted to Gordon Ramsay's swipe at Peaty family feud
Adam Peaty's estranged mother is 'outraged' and 'hurt' that Gordon Ramsay took a swipe at their family feud in his speech at the wedding.
Gordon praised his daughter Holly’s beauty at the wedding and told Adam he was a "lucky man," adding "look at Tana and that's what you have to look forward to," referring to his wife.
In what appeared to be a dig at Adam’s parents, he told his daughter, "Shame you don't have the same."
Adam’s parents Caroline and Mark weren’t invited to the lavish wedding, which took place at Bath Abbey.
Adam is reportedly estranged from his family and has blocked them. He has also changed his surname to Ramsay Peaty on social media.
However, a source close to his family has revealed that Caronline is furious about the remarks.
"Caroline can't believe Gordon brought their family troubles up his speech. It is outrageous and very hurtful," the mole told the Daily Mail.
"Him saying Tana will be a good mum to them both makes Caroline sound like a bad mum. It was a cruel dig at her. She has always done her best for all her children. She is a very good mum," the mole added.
The source remarked, "Who says this wasn't pre-planned.?"
"We may not have much as a family but we have values," they added.
