Meghan Markle laughs off Prince Archie’s request for pricey item
Meghan Markle jokes about the gift she refuses to buy Prince Archie
Meghan Markle once shared a light-hearted parenting moment involving her son Prince Archie.
The Duchess of Sussex joked that once little Archie wanted a luxury item he would definitely not be getting from her.
Speaking at a special screening of the Netflix film The After, Meghan recalled how Archie became interested in photography after spending time with family friend and photographer Misan Harriman.
She revealed she bought Archie a camera, but Archie questioned why it was not the same expensive and professional one that Harriman uses.
During a Q/A session, Meghan shared, "The inspiration runs deep,” adding, "Our 4-year-old, 4 ½ -year-old son — he would say, 'No, I'm not 4. I'm 4 ½ — Misan was showing him how to do photography the last time he was with us, and I bought Archie a camera.”
“And he said, 'But it's not a Leica like Misan,'” Meghan added. "I said, 'You are not getting a Leica! Not even for Christmas.' So thank you for the inspiration across the board."
Meghan recently shared a glimpse at her son and daughter, Princess Lilibet, as she dropped her family's Christmas card for this year.
The adorable photo featured Prince Harry embracing Archie while Meghan held Lili's hands in the photo shared on her official Instagram.
