Jack Reiner makes first public appearance since parents Rob, Michelle's tragic deaths

Jack Reiner made his first public appearance since the passing of his father and mother, Rob and Michelle Reiner.

On Saturday, Rob's son was spotted on a shopping date with his girlfriend, Maria Gilfillan. The two were photographed holding hands while strolling in Malibu, California.

Jake wore a blue button-up shirt, jeans, and white sneakers for the outing, while Maria donned a green sweater, a gray jacket, and jeans.

This sighting came just 2 weeks after the death of Jack's parents. For those unversed, Rob and Michelle were found dead in their Brentwood, Calif., home on December 14.

“It is with profound sorrow that we announce the tragic passing of Michele and Rob Reiner," the filmmaker's family said in a statement to Variety at that time.

"We are heartbroken by this sudden loss, and we ask for privacy during this unbelievably difficult time,” the message read.

Following the tragic deaths of Rob and his wife, the police arrested the couple's son, Nick, on suspicion of murdering his parents.

Rob and Michelle exchanged vows in 1989 and later welcomed three children - daughter Romy, and sons Jake and Nick.
