Meghan's staunch critics team up as Karoline Leavitt shares good news
White House Press Secretary says she is expecting her second child in 2026
Piers Morgan and Megyn Kelly were prominent among the journalists who congratulated Karoline Leavitt after the White House Press Secretary announced that she and her husband Nicholas Riccio are expecting their second child.
"Many congrats!," wrote Morgan in the comments section of Leavitt's Instagram post containing her photos and the announcement regarding her pregnancy.
Megyn Kelly wrote, "AMAZING!!! So happy for you! Such a joyful and special time in life!!! Sending you lots of love and prayers!"
Interestingly, both the journalists are seen as staunch critics of Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex.
Morgan and Kelly have made no attempt to hide their dislike for Prince Harry's wife on social media and in their podcasts since the royal couple stepped down from royal duties.
Meanwhile, Karoline Leavitt's boss, President Donald Trump, is publicly known for criticizing the former US actress.
Before being elected to the office for the second time, Trump said he would seek to take "appropriate action" against Prince Harry if he lied on his visa application about drug-taking.
US visa applicants are required to make a disclosure about any history of drug use, which can impact their application. Lying on an application can result in penalties including deportation.
Harry, who has lived in California since 2020, admitted to past illegal drug use in his memoir "Spare," after which conservative think tank the Heritage Foundation sued the US Homeland Security Department to access his immigration records.
