Hilary Duff says no to teenage drama as Frankie Muniz stirs up drama: Source
Hilary Duff is reportedly unbothered as Frankie Muniz revists past drama
Hilary Duff is reportedly steering clear of old wounds after Frankie Muniz resurfaced long-buried tensions tied to their early-2000s friendship.
According to RadarOnline.com, the Lizzie McGuire alum was left blindsided after Muniz recently revisited a long-rumored rift involving their time in the spotlight.
The insider even claimed the former Agent Cody Banks star suggested their friendship fell apart after Duff was cast opposite him in the 2003 film, a role he allegedly hoped would go to Kristin Kreuk instead.
“Hillary was blindsided,” one industry source said.
“She’s got three kids, a thriving career and zero interest in revisiting teenage trauma.”
Another insider was less charitable, adding, “Frankie loves attention. He’s using her name because no one asked what he’s doing lately.”
Despite the chatter, Muniz has publicly expressed interest in reconnecting, recently sharing that he would “love to catch up.”
However, sources close to Duff insist she is not engaging.
“She’s not returning that call,” one insider said bluntly. “Not now. Not ever.”
