Prince Harry, Meghan 'united' to heal family rifts for Archie, Lilibet
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry want "movement and forgiveness – a chance for their kids to have the family they didn’t."
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are said to be ‘united’ in wanting to heal family rifts for their children Archie and Lilibet.
According to a report by the Closer, the insider has claimed 2026 could be transformative for Meghan and Harry, particularly in the wake of both of their fathers King Charles and Thomas Markle navigating significant health challenges.
The insiders says, “Archie and Lilibet are old enough now to start asking bigger questions. Meghan and Harry don’t want to look back one day and realise the window closed. Both of them feel that – strongly.
“They’re united in wanting to heal family rifts. No one expects miracles. But they want movement and forgiveness – a chance for their kids to have the family they didn’t.”
Meghan and Harry want the children to feel connected to their father’s roots, the source believes, adding “It’s their way of honouring where he comes from while creating something new. After Christmas, the family is planning a quiet holiday – somewhere warm and private where they can reset.”
However, the other sources claimed, “If Harry feels he can bring the children safely, that changes everything. It opens the door to healing.”
About Meghan, the insider however said, “But he’s afraid Meghan still won’t want to come, even if the security issue is resolved. And then she won’t have that excuse.”
“This fear has reportedly caused quiet friction. It’s been prickly at times. Harry wants connection. Meghan wants protection – of their privacy, their peace and their children. Those things don’t always line up neatly.”
