Keira Knightley reveals rare tactic to deal with co stars she cannot stand
Keira Knightley has made a rare admission about how she navigates awkward on-screen moments
Keira Knightley has made a hilarious confession about her approach to dealing with co-stars she hates.
During an appearance on the Dish by Waitrose podcast, the actress hilariously explained her "etiquette" for handling intimate scenes with fellow actors she dislikes, admitting that breath control can sometimes become a subtle form of protest.
"Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, there's etiquette," Knightley began.
"If you really hate somebody, obviously then you have something disgusting and like you smell. But if you really like someone, obviously there’s chewing gum — you need to be minty fresh."
She went on to clarify that, for her, it all comes down to basic courtesy or the deliberate lack of it.
"No, that’s unspoken basic human [etiquette]," Knightley explained.
"Like you’re not having garlic for lunch, you know — once again unless you really hate them, in which case as much garlic as possible," she added.
Before concluding, she remarked, "Obviously that’s fair enough."
