Dame Helen Mirren doesn't want to 'be bothered' with THIS: 'Makes me feel better'
Dame Helen Mirren opens up about her decision to not colour her hair
Dame Helen Mirren is giving preference to her natural hair over dyes despite being a long-standing promoter and global brand ambassador of L’Oreal Paris.
According to Daily Mail, the 80-year-old English actress whose career in the Entertainment spans over six decades jokingly stated that it not about being brave and accepting your natural beauty, she now prefers to not “be bothered” when it comes to her style.
Mirren, who has been flaunting her sleek white bob for a few years even though the beauty giant pays her a fortune to promote its Age Perfect hair dye, articulated her thoughts by saying, 'I don't colour my hair at all because I can't be bothered.”
She went on to clarify, “It's not being brave or anything. I just can't be fussed with it. I always had blonde hair and my hair would go this sort of colour in the sun anyway.”
“It would go sort of white. So, I just slowly went whiter and whiter,” the Oscar winner quipped.
In the past, Mirren has shared her reservations reading beauty products, especially moisturizers.
“When I put my moisturizer on it probably does f*** all, but it makes me feel better,” the MobLand star remarked at that time.
