Dakota Johnson kisses THIS singer on stage in emotional moment
Dakota Johnson also said some meaningful lines on the stage
Dakota Johnson surprised the audience of Saturday Night Live when she stepped on stage to join musical guest Lily Allen.
Lily was joined by Josh O'Connor making his debut as host to promote Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery.
She sang Madeline from her latest album West End Girl. The song addresses a woman named Madeline who slept with her husband. The song is believed to be about Lily’s ex-husband David Harbour’s alleged cheating.
As the singer sang, Johnson sat behind a curtain, saying her lines from the song, which is a blend of a song and a play.
"I hate that you're in so much pain right now ... He told me that you were aware this was going on and that he had your full consent," said Johnson as Madeline.
"If he's lying about that, then please let me know. Because I have my own feelings about dishonesty. Lies are not something that I wanna get caught up in," The Materialists star added, ultimately coming out and kissing Allen on the cheek followed by a hug between the two.
In another nod to her martial woes, Lily sang her song Sleepwalking.
The lyrics go, "Looking back, it's so absurd / Course I trusted you and took you at your word ... / Been no romance since we wed ... / But you let me think it was me in my head / And nothing to do with them girls in your bed."
