With appearances lining up Prince Harry Christmas plans an expert has just come forward with his personal take on what it seems to hint towards.
For those unversed with the series of lighthearted engagements, the Duke has not only had a cameo in Meghan’s Christmas special for With Love, Meghan but has also shown up on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert talking about being a prince and comparing his royal life to Downton Abbey.
For royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams however, this hints at something completely different.
He spoke to Express UK about this change in Prince Harry’s work and admits the lighthearted nature of his most-recent public appearances proves he “isn’t actually doing very much” workwise.
He also pointed out everything and said, “Harry’s been an extra twice in the last week, once in the critically excoriated With Love, Meghan and the other on Stephen Colbert’s The Late Show.”
But “the former was pretty meaningless although we learnt what foods he doesn’t like. The latter was silly and it wasn’t wise to mock Donald Trump!”
As for his comparisons to Downton though the expert admits this was “pretty harmless and actually rather funny.”
“The King won’t mind as it was light-hearted fun and we all love Downton, but Harry seems at a loss as he isn’t actually doing very much.”
After all, as the expert pointed out “their (Harry and Meghan’s) Netflix contract has been altered, he has lost Sentebale,” and while “there is nothing wrong with a bit of humour, it’s time he did something serious as he used to, when he was a working royal!” he said before signing off.
