Peter Greene, best known for his role in the action-comedy The Mask, has passed away at the age of 60.
As per the latest reports, the actor was found unresponsive inside his apartment in New York City on Friday, December 12.
Police told The New York Post that Peter's body was found dead inside his Clinton Street apartment at "around 3:25 p.m."
However, the cause of death has not yet been announced.
Peter's manager, Greg Edwards, has also confirmed the actor's death.
"Truly one of the great actors of our generation," Greg told the outlet. "His heart was as big as there was."
"I'm going to miss him. He was a great friend," added the manager.
For those unversed, Peter was set to begin filming in January for a new thriller titled Mascots.
Born in New Jersey, Peter was best known for playing villainous roles in films such as Pulp Fiction, The Mask, and Training Day.
He also appeared in films including Laws of Gravity, Clean, Chevin, and Blue Streak.
