Sabrina Carpenter recalls painful mishap happened on 'Manchild' set
Sabrina Carpenter's hit 'Manchild' earned four nominations at the upcoming Grammy Awards
Sabrina Carpenter recalled a painful mishap that occurred while filming the music video, Manchild.
During an appearance on the latest episode of Late Night with Seth Meyers, the 26-year-old singer revealed that she fell on a cactus while filming in the "great outdoors."
"I fell on a cactus," Sabrina told the host. "It's so easy to laugh when people get hurt. And I did."
"But then I started crying," said the Expresso hitmaker of her fall.
"There was a medic. I just for the rest of the day was picking s--- out of....," added Sabrina, cutting herself off.
Despite the injury, the songstress is proud of the music video, which took three days to shoot.
"I'll be honest, that shoot was so ambitious. We shot 37 outfits," said Sabrina. "That was probably my biggest shoot I've ever done."
"I'm so grateful to be able to make that production of my dreams. But it was definitely... We endured a lot of pain to get the finished product," continued the Please Please Please singer.
"I really like that because I think — I make pop music and sometimes you don't expect to see those visuals in a song like that. So that one means a lot to me. I'm very excited that everyone has liked the video, added Sabrina.
Manchild, which was released on June 5, has earned four nominations at the upcoming Grammy Awards, including Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Pop Solo Performance.
