Queen Camilla visits 'Rivals' set
Rivals is based on best-selling novel by acclaimed author Dame Jilly, a friend of Queen Camilla, who died in October 2025
Queen Camilla visited the set of Rivals, a Disney Plus UK's TV drama, which is filming its second series in Bristol.
The royal family on Monday shared a video of the Queen's visit to the set with a statement saying, "The Queen has visited the set of the @DisneyPlusUK TV drama, Rivals, which is currently filming its second series on location in Bristol."
The statement added, "In celebration of British television production, youth opportunity in the creative industries, and the legacy of author Dame Jilly Cooper, Her Majesty met cast and crew on set and had a sneak preview of the upcoming series."
First published in 1988, the series is based on the best-selling novel by acclaimed author Dame Jilly, who sadly passed away recently.
Starring Alex Hassel, David Tennant, Bella Maclean and Aidan Turner, Rivals is a British period comedy-drama television series.
The first series was released on 18 October 2024.
