For a while, Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau have been spotted together, fuelling rumours of romance.
Now, what has long been speculated, the pop icon has made it official on Instagram. The snaps and clips show the couple's recent getaway to Japan.
One of the pictures showed the Dark Horse hitmaker glued to each other, while another video showed them eating together. "Tokyo times on tour and more," the caption read.
Apart from an informal outing, the pair also had an official meeting with former Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida and his wife, Yuko.
The host on X posted photos of the meet-up. "Former Canadian Prime Minister @JustinTrudeau visited Japan with his partner and joined my wife and me for lunch."
The caption further read, "During his time as prime minister, we met multiple times as fellow leaders, and when I visited Canada, we worked together to strengthen bilateral relations, including formulating the 'Japan-Canada Action Plan,' sweating it out side by side. I am delighted that we continue to maintain this friendship in this way."
Justin, who reposted the post, pens his praise for his counterpart, Fumio. "Great to see you @kishida230. "Katy and I were so glad to have the chance to sit down with you and Yuko. Thank you, Fumio, for your friendship and your continued commitment to both the international rules-based order and to a better future for everyone."
It is worth noting that this is not the first time Justin and Katy have been seen in public as a couple. For example, last October, they arrived at a cabaret show at the Crazy House in Paris and left together.
