Kristen Bell sparks new controversy after her, Dax Shepard's wedding anniversary

Kristen Bell’s latest anniversary post has sparked outrage, as many stated she failed to understand the sensitivity of domestic violence.

For those unaware, the 45-year-old American actress and singer, who tied the knot with Dax Shepard on October 17, 2013, at the Beverly Hills courthouse, celebrated their 12th wedding anniversary this year.

On their anniversary day, Bell made a post, that too in a Domestic Violence Awareness Month, in which she jokingly wrote, “I would never kill you. A lot of men have killed their wives at a certain point. Even though I'm heavily incentivized to kill you, I never would.”

According to Radar Online, her insensitive comment drew sharp criticism as people questioned her understanding of the situation and it captured wide attention because it came in Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

"What made her lovable – the therapy talk, the confessions, the no-filter approach – now makes people cringe,” an insider told the outlet.

"Everything's rehearsed now. Every post, every word. She's terrified of saying the wrong thing again,” the source said.
