William, Kate shift focus from Prince Harry as true priority comes to light

Kate Middleton will not act as "peacemaker" to bring the estranged brothers, Prince William and Prince Harry, closer together.

For those unaware, the two brothers have not met since Harry returned to Britain with his wife, Meghan Markle.

“There’s always this talk of Kate potentially being the peacekeeper, the one that could bring the two brothers together,” writer Omid Scobie said in a new documentary, Harry & Meghan: The Return of the Prince.

“If I’ve learned anything over the years from covering them, it’s that Kate has very little to do with that relationship between the brothers,” he added. 

Meanwhile, royal writer Erin Hill told People magazine that William and Kate are sticking to tradition.

As per the source, the Prince and Princess of Wales have decided to take an “old-school approach” to Harry and Meghan's return.

“[They are planning to] Keep calm, carry on, do the job," the confidant said.

“So right now Harry and Meghan, they’re not a priority for them, and they’re very much looking to the future,” she added.

It is worth mentioning here that Prince Harry and Meghan moved back to Britain last month. Following their return, King Charles issued a statement clarifying that the Sussex couple retains the status of "non-working royals" and should be treated as "private citizens."
