Redwalls' musician Justin Baren breathes his last at 40
Justin Baren formed the rock band The Redwalls when he was in high school
Justin Baren, a founding member of The Redwalls, has passed away at the age of 40.
The former teen rock star's father, Martin Baren, announced the death of the musician on social media.
Martin took to her Instagram handle to share that Justin "peacefully" died on November 28.
"It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our friend, brother, and bandmate, Justin Baren," Justin's father began the length post.
He further wrote, "Justin was an essential part of The Redwalls. His energy, intuition, and raw musicality helped shape who we were. Not just as a band, but as a group of kids trying to make something meaningful together."
"The cause of Justin's passing has not been officially determined. He will be deeply missed, and his memory will be a blessing," he continued.
Concluding the post, Justin's father added, "We're grateful for the years, the music, and all the memories we shared."
For those unversed, Justin and his brother Logan formed the rock band, The Redwalls, when they were in high school.
