Prince William and Kate Middleton are preparing to host the German President for a special night.
President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and his wife Elke Budenbender are given a ceremonial royal reception in Windsor by the Prince and Princess of Wales, hours after King Charles and Queen Camilla welcomed the statesman to the UK.
Turning to their Instagram on Wednesday, the Prince and Princess of Wales captioned the post: “Looking forward to a special banquet tonight in Windsor.”
For the special night out, both William and Kate are dressed to the nines in blue.
Buckingham Palace issued an update as President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and his wife Elke Budenbender were given a ceremonial royal reception in Windsor, with marching bands and a carriage ride to the castle.
In the clips shared on the royal family's official Instagram accounts, King Charles and Queen Camilla can be seen inspecting preparations for the State Banquet for the royal guests.
