Last Thanksgiving, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner, together with their children, volunteered at the Midnight Mission in Los Angeles to serve food to the homeless people.
Reports at the time said the ex-couple seemed happy and friendly while feeding the poor. Now, the actress has attended the charity event again, but this time without her ex-husband.
Notably, last year Ben spent Thanksgiving with her and her boyfriend, John Miller, as he was going through his divorce from Jennifer Lopez.
“Ben and Jen are looking forward to today and Ben is anticipating a relaxing day full of food and football before he has to get back to work on the film,” an insider told Daily Mail.
“Thanksgiving is all about being drama free when it comes to Ben, it is going to be low key, only good vibes and Jen is on board to make today as easy as possible.”
Amid his marriage woes at the time, Ben also leaned on Jennifer for emotional support. “Ben leans on her for everything, he’s got his own place but he’s still at her house all the time for family dinners and she never fails to send him home with a care package of food.”
It is worth noting that “Midnight Mission plans to serve over 2,500 Thanksgiving meals over the course of this year's street festival on Skid Row, according to the description on the non-profit's website.
