Jack White stuns at NFL half-time show with Eminem
Jack White paired up with iconic rapper Eminem for a performance at an NFL-half time show
Jack White teamed up with rapper Eminem to perform at an NFL half-time show on Thanksgiving.
The White Stripes star provided the musical entertainment mid-way through the game as his hometown team the Detroit Lions took on the Green Bay Packers at the Ford Field stadium in Detroit, Michigan on and he delighted the crowd by bringing out fellow Detroit native Eminem, who was raised in the city from the age of 12.
White started his set with That’s How I’m Feeling from his 2024 album No Name before Eminem - wearing a blue Lions jacket - joined him on stage for a performance of his 2002 hit Till I Collapse with the rocker accompanying him on guitar.
The set finished with a rendition of The White Stripes anthem Seven Nation Army which was accompanied by a performance from the Detroit Lions Cheerleaders.
The gig was co-produced by Eminem, who has signed a deal to work on the musical entertainment for the Lions' half-time shows from 2025 until 2027.
However, the half-time show did not manage to rally the Lions to produce a result as they went on to lose the game to the Packers 31-24. The team will not battle for a wild card slot for any hope of proceeding to the NFL play-offs.
