Channing Tatum gets called out by his ex-girlfriend
Channing Tatum had dated the person for two years, from 2018 to 2020
In what appears to be a dig at Channing Tatum, Jessie J speaks her heart out in her new track, Threw It Away.
It’s part of her new album, Don’t Tease Me With a Good Time. While the musician did not name her ex, the lyrics, The Sun reports, hint at him.
“I put my heart out on the table, that’s when it got uncomfortable,” she sings. “But oh that karma is gonna come one day, ’cause I gave you my love and you threw it away.”
“Don’t you dare rewrite the story. I’m the beauty, you’re the beast,” the musician croons, which the news outlet claims is a reference to her ex-boyfriend, whom she dated for two years from 2018 to 2020
Adding weight to the speculation, Jessie, at her latest album’s private listening party, says, “This next song I wrote in 2020 with Ryan Tedder, and you can figure out who I was dating.”
Meanwhile, the album comes after Jessie's recovery from breast cancer, for which she underwent treatment last summer.
“I’m grateful for the lessons and grateful for the connectivity it’s given me with so many people having cancer," she said at the time. “And I’ve been a better parent, I’ve been a better person.”
